How it works

The Foundation funds and coordinates this initiative. A licensed, FSSAI-compliant partner community kitchen prepares and serves the food. To be completely clear: the Foundation does not cook, does not source raw ingredients, and does not hold the FSSAI or trade licence. Food service is a food-safety-regulated activity, and it belongs with a partner already licensed and equipped to do it well.

Why the Foundation coordinates but never operates

This is the fastest pillar to launch precisely because it carries no institutional-licensing chain — only FSSAI and trade-licence compliance, which an established partner kitchen can already hold. It is the same “fund and coordinate, never operate” pattern we use for Elder Welfare, Survivor Support, and Child Welfare, and for the same reason.
