Is my donation tax-deductible?

Not yet. Nischint Sewa Foundation’s 12A and 80G applications are in progress as of September 2026. We will only state that donations are tax-deductible once the 80G certificate is actually issued, and donations are not being collected until that approval is granted.

How is the Foundation different from the NISCHINT app?

Nischint Sewa Foundation is an independent Section 8 non-profit. The NISCHINT app is a consumer product of Skybyte Venture Pvt Ltd. The Foundation uses NISCHINT technology under licence, but the two are separate legal entities with separate finances and governance.

How are funds used?

Funds are used to finance and coordinate programs delivered by trusted local partners — for example, funding a licensed community kitchen to serve free meals, or coordinating elder-care support. The Foundation funds and coordinates; it does not itself operate kitchens, shelters, or care institutions.

Who cooks the food for the Hunger Relief program?

A licensed, FSSAI-compliant partner community kitchen prepares and serves the food — not the Foundation. The Foundation funds and coordinates the initiative; the partner kitchen holds the required food-safety and trade licences. The specific partner will be named only once a formal agreement is signed.

Hunger Relief is our first initiative, launching now in Mumbai. Elder Welfare is our active flagship, starting with an RWA elder-safety pilot. Survivor Support and Child Welfare are being built toward with partners and are not yet active.

Not yet. We are keeping donations closed until 80G approval so that we can offer valid tax receipts and full transparency from day one. You can register interest via the Partner or Contact pages in the meantime.

Hunger Relief — Mumbai community kitchen pilot is currently launching now. Free lunch and dinner daily at a single fixed pilot location, once a formal partner-kitchen agreement is signed. The Foundation funds and coordinates; a licensed FSSAI-compliant partner kitchen prepares and serves the food.

RWA elder-safety pilot is currently in an active pilot. Pilot launching September 2026. Real detail and results will be published here once the pilot produces usable data.

Survivor Support is currently planned and not yet active. In planning, to be delivered with licensed partner organisations. The Foundation will fund and coordinate only.

Child Welfare is currently planned and not yet active. Planned and deferred until delivered through licensed partners. Not active. No child-safety features are live on this platform.

We do not yet publish verified impact numbers. All current figures (Families supported, RWAs onboarded, Meals served (Hunger Relief), Average elder response time) are marked “coming soon” and will be published only once each is verified — we never publish a number before it is real.
